I'm Akbar Jorayev — a 19-year-old Software Engineer from Uzbekistan.
I'm always curious about how things work under the hood. I enjoy everything from crafting clean code to experimenting with new tech and figuring out the weird bugs that show up at 2 AM.
I'm curious by nature. I like asking "why?" and then going one layer deeper than necessary. Sometimes that leads to cool ideas. Sometimes it leads to chaos. Either way, I enjoy the process.
How it started
My journey into software engineering started in early 2022, when I first wrote my Hello World in HTML. That small step turned into a passion for building, breaking, and learning.
Since then I've built things from scratch: backend, frontend, and deployment, and I've learned the most from the ones that failed. In 2025 I made several MVPs and deleted most of them. The code is still on GitHub Archive if you're curious. You can see what I built in the projects section.
I also got into competitive programming. In 2025 my team placed 28th place (it was 27th before the final decision) out of 157 at ICPC Uzbekistan.
